Autoimmune Dis-Ease ...

Colonic Irrigation - could it be a key element to assisting in the healing of Autoimmune Disease?

Through research, personal experience and learning, and being with patients, it is becoming ever more obvious that sometimes the more we complicate disease and medical techniques, the more we are becoming removed from the healing process. One of the results is what we see today with an increase in autoimmune diseases.

Sadly, in a short period of time, the number of autoimmune diseases has increased, and any number of these diseases can have any number of sub-diseases with their own symptoms. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) for example, has about 100 sub-diseases.

Autoimmune diseases are a disease where our immune system does not recognise us and attacks our body as though we are something foreign.

Our modern medicine answer seems like a good idea, suppress, or control the immune system. In most cases, this is unrealistic because our immune system has a vital service to perform. Shouldn't the realistic solution be to find out why our immune system is attacking us in the first place, why the confusion?

If we have been alive, our immune system has checked each of the trillions of cells in our body twice a day. The question is why, after checking the identification of our cells successfully all our life, does our immune system suddenly go on the attack? What has happened to these cells of our body, such as those in our joints that it once protected, and it now attacks?

Making the pain or symptoms go away without addressing the underlying root cause of the immune confusion may give our body cause and effect to bring us another autoimmune disease. And so, it begins, someone with an autoimmune disease tends to get another autoimmune disease and possibly, the cycle continues. Think of it like the arcade game where we knock the peg down with a hammer and another one pops up.

What is needed to prevent our immune system from making these errors? We need to look at eliminating from our body those things that are causing the immunity confusion. These are things that never have and never will be naturally accepted or beneficial to the human body or mind.

Some possible causes can be the many combinations of toxins in our bodies today that have never been there in all of human history. Our bodies were never designed to carry them, nor have any use for them. Exemplars would be the heavy metals aluminum, cadmium, lead, mercury and thallium. Then you have the industrial chemicals that include hydrazine, herbicides, preservatives, dyes, and plastics etc.

It has been known for some time that some medical drugs can trigger an autoimmune disease. More recently, it has been found that many medical drugs are the direct cause of various autoimmune diseases. Remember, most medical drugs are made to suppress our symptoms.

Would you be surprised to learn that something subjective like losing a loved one or getting a divorce can trigger an autoimmune disease? To eliminate these and other factors, we need to address the whole person, which takes work and willingness on the part of the practitioner and the patient.

This may mean we need to reverse what we have been doing all our life. By taking the stress off our weakened immune system, we can give it a chance to recover. We can do this through cleansing, detoxing, eliminating refined foods, lots of fresh produce, live juices, and lifestyle adjustments. We can give our body everything it needs to build and repair.

Disease can attack our body through:

. what we bring into our body via food, water, air;

. what is not eliminated and the toxins that build up encouraging the disease to start;

. a lack of movement and exercise causing poor blood flow, encouraging toxic build-up;

. low oxygen and poor nutrition to cells;

. the stressful people and situations in the work place and at home

. a poor spiritual foundation, no belief in a higher power.
