Learning From or Letting Go …

For some of us the past can be intoxicating, it can draw us in, create the illusion that things were better, that we were happier, or experiences were richer back then - we romanticise it.

It can also debilitate us, leaving us stuck in our memories of pain, heartbreak, and disappointment, holding us back from even attempting another shot at happiness.

We often hear that if we don’t learn from our past mistakes, we’re bound to repeat them.

Can we also learn to let go of the past? Learn to forge ahead, keeping the knowledge close but not letting it overtake our ability to try again, to feel again. When we feel, we can do anything!
