Most patients that come into our space will cry. They feel embarrassed, shame, guilt and sometimes even apologise for doing so.
Crying is a beautiful letting go and plays a role in healing. It enables our body to release oxytocin and endogenous opioids, also known as endorphins. These feel-good chemicals can help ease both physical and emotional pain.
Crying can also lead to ~
. Remembering
. Accepting Feelings
. Changing Beliefs
. Making New Decisions
. Ending, and
. Going Home (wherever that may be)
